The Japanese market of Yamaha Vox changed its scooter product name into Yamaha C3 and came to the US last year (2007). Yamaha produced a model in 2008 named as 2008 C3 and a coming new model called 2009 C3. Aside from the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), the 2008 C3 is lighter (187 lb) than the 2009 C3 (198 lb). The Yamaha-Motor states the prices of the two models as $1,999 and $2,099 respectively.
