"Scooterista Den" is a blog created for the purpose of serving an inner passion and enthusiasm towards scooters and scootering. The author has been a scooter rider and owner since 2002 and have ridden to many local bikers destinations in the locality of his workplace - Metro Manila, Philippines. His life as a scooter rider has always been great, given the countless fun rides he took during weekends as part of his self unwinding activities after tedious work in a Government office.
Along the way, the author was able to accumulate a bunch of great (biker) friends, who in one way or another have become a sort of his family extension, committed to real dreams and aspirations in serving the general community through many little ways like fund generating rides, voluntary community outreaching, as well as cooperation with some government agencies in promoting road safety and proper road use as an ordinary commuter or motorist.
The term "Scooterista" is local (Filipino) equivalent of the term Scooterist. The Den is referring to this newly started blog as being the virtual repository of Scooter and Scootering news, features, adventures and perhaps tips and tutorials pertaining to scooter riding and use. This humble blog will be the author's bin for anything under the shade of Scooter and Scooterting.
